It’s easy to just talk about store con­cepts. But soo­ner or later they have to be built. This fact trig­gers dis­il­lu­si­onment in some peop­le. It igni­tes inven­tiveness in us. Espe­ci­al­ly when a lea­ding manu­fac­tu­rer of fur­nis­hing sys­tems chal­len­ges us to deve­lop a shelf sys­tem that sets new stan­dards for retail and office envi­ron­ments. Modu­lar. Ele­gant. And, above all, rele­vant. A true all-roun­der. For (r)evolutionary worlds of expe­ri­ence in retail.

Strategic precision work

Omni­po­tence does not ari­se spon­ta­ne­ous­ly. It can­not be achie­ved sin­gle-han­ded­ly. Which is why we com­bi­ne our pro­duct desi­gners’ eye for detail with the big­ger pic­tu­re – the con­tex­tu­al plan­ning of the inte­rior design. This ensu­res we have a head for prac­ti­cal solu­ti­ons and a heart for reim­a­gi­ned living space. As well as exten­si­ve know­ledge acqui­red through dozens of shop rede­signs. All of which we sha­red with Vis­play as part of Vitra AG. We hel­ped defi­ne the tar­get indus­tries and trans­la­te their requi­re­ments into the new sys­tem. Down to the mil­li­met­re.

When complex becomes flexible

Mul­ti­func­tio­n­al and extre­me­ly easy to adapt – for Omnio, we deve­lo­ped a com­ple­te­ly new Y‑connection bet­ween the frame and shel­ves that befits the com­ple­xi­ty of modern shop-fit­ting solu­ti­ons. Invi­si­ble to the obser­ver, this cle­ver detail makes the most diver­se con­fi­gu­ra­ti­ons pos­si­ble, from robust to high-end. In seconds, high beco­mes low, light beco­mes dark, coar­se beco­mes fine, simp­le beco­mes chic.

Retail design for health & beauty

This form-fit­ting sys­tem crea­tes the ide­al basis for an ent­i­re world of beau­ty. Pain­ted in light colours, Omnio builds mini­ma­list “sta­ges” for health and beau­ty pro­duc­ts. Inclu­ding a floa­ting ele­ment for high­light pre­sen­ta­ti­ons. During deve­lop­ment, we natu­ral­ly also gave some thought to aes­the­tic ligh­t­ing solu­ti­ons. Ent­i­re shel­ves beco­me illu­mi­na­ted LED panels thanks to intel­li­gent power manage­ment. And the use of digi­tal app­li­ca­ti­ons has never been easier. Magi­cal!

Look what I can do …

With its will to chan­ge, Omnio has also inspi­red our Moti­on Design depart­ment. In our short film we bring the shelf to life – and just let it do its thing. Worlds emer­ge like dreams. Worlds in which we can fly. And show what’s pos­si­ble. Sim­ply ever­ything. Accom­pa­nied by the spe­ci­al­ly com­po­sed Omnio sound­track. Which, inci­dent­al­ly, is far more rela­xing than the album of the same name by a Nor­we­gi­an hea­vy metal band.

Offices & working environments

Omnio would not be cal­led Omnio were it unab­le to revo­lu­tio­ni­se working envi­ron­ments. From co-working spaces to open-plan offices and stu­di­os, Omnio builds new spaces in no time at all – fle­xi­ble ones! Count­less con­fi­gu­ra­ti­ons and exten­si­ons help to achie­ve this, such as the mul­ti-lane car­ri­er rails. The­se can help to crea­te an open cli­ma­te. Or crea­te peace and pri­va­cy with clo­sed modu­les. Hook-in white­boards and pin boards also help to orga­ni­se the workspace.

Retail design – fashion

Hau­te cou­ture or casu­al? Omnio embo­dies a timeless, restrai­ned design lan­guage that adap­ts to fashion ran­ges wit­hout ste­aling the show. In this way, it lets you play with dif­fe­rent styles and colours. And mate­ri­als: the ran­ge extends from MDF to marb­le. Due to the varia­ble heights and back walls, the sys­tem works just as well on the wall as in the room cent­re. As a room divi­der or an eye-catching high­light in the shop win­dow. For both lying and han­ging goods.
