Ochsner Sport Zurich

Do your
thing!

“Switzerland is our sports field”. Almost 60 years after its foundation, Ochsner Sport is reinventing itself. With around 80 branches, the company, which was founded in 1961 and has been part of the Deichmann Group since 1992, is the market leader in the Swiss Confederation. As part of a broad-based omnichannel strategy to renew its brand image, we implemented a concept for the Zurich store Ochnser Sport Pro that embodies the brand essence of the traditional provider. Completely new standards, which we manifested and made tangible in terms of performance and sports competence.

Sport in its entirety!

Ready, Set, Go for Run, Bike & Trail: we have given Ochsner Sport Pro a new look including a complete restructuring of the product range plus an exclusive selection of top brands. And extended the package with exciting service offers. The new brand image picks up on what Ochsner Sport understands by “pro”: sport in its entirety! The starting signal for the Swiss sports field of the future.

Seasonal interplay

Modern coolness suitable for two very different theme worlds, which alternate on the approximately 1,000 m² ground floor of the sports store. Concentrated bike expertise with workshop and fitting zone from March through to September. From October to February on the other hand, snow fun with ski boot fitting, ski and snowboard rental and an Alpine test centre. Pure action, for which we have created the perfect stage. Clean concrete combined with elegant perforated sheeting, plus black, minimalist shelf systems on neon tubes. An open, dark ceiling contrasts with the light grey of the walls and floors. A functional ambience that nevertheless does not appear undercooled. Instead, it harmonises with the tech appeal of the rest of the interior and the goods on display.

Keeping the finish line in view

The motto “Run & Train” is played on 600 m² on the upper floor. Here, too, reduced shelving systems entirely in black are used. Illuminated by three-dimensionally arranged fluorescent tubes, which not only guide the eye but also structure the sales area vertically. A combination of gold, black and white perforated sheeting joins together to form separate cubes that serve as walk-on stages for the presentation of goods. Purposefully positioned creations provide highlights here and there, with a well-thought-out material selection helping to showcase the products.
