Built on ideals

On a con­s­truc­tion site, it must be clear who has the plan. Who­se state­ments can be reli­ed on? Who bears the respon­si­bi­li­ty? Kös­ter GmbH ans­wers con­fi­dent­ly – and shows its colours. The com­pa­ny is Germany’s lea­ding con­s­truc­tion com­pa­ny in the fields of work, living and infra­struc­tu­re. The ran­ge of ser­vices extends from indi­vi­du­al plan­ning to the turn­key imple­men­ta­ti­on of con­s­truc­tion pro­jects. Tail­or-made con­s­truc­tion pro­jects are rea­li­sed through a net­work of 20 loca­ti­ons nati­on­wi­de. Loo­se­ly based on the Greek phi­lo­so­pher Aris­tot­le, who once said “The who­le is more than the sum of its parts”, we have crea­ted a uni­form brand design for Köster.

Giving shape to a brand

How does a gene­ral con­trac­tor crea­te dif­fe­ren­tia­ti­on in the mar­ket today? And how do you give shape to an orga­ni­sa­ti­on with 2,000 employees and a tur­no­ver of 1.3 bil­li­on euros? Our focus was on crea­ting a coher­ent brand image for Kös­ter GmbH. And the result has a signal effect: like an excla­ma­ti­on mark, a ver­ti­cal red column marks each con­s­truc­tion site. This makes it easy to reco­g­ni­se who is respon­si­ble for the pro­ject, even from a distance. The red shape is as simp­le as it is solid.

From the busi­ness card to the con­s­truc­tion site, it car­ri­es and sta­bi­li­ses the enti­re cor­po­ra­te com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on – intern­al­ly and extern­al­ly. Cus­to­mers and employees recei­ve a clear mes­sa­ge across all media: Kös­ter gives con­s­truc­tion pro­jects sta­bi­li­ty and struc­tu­re. An unmist­aka­ble state­ment, for which we pre­vious­ly ana­ly­sed the mar­ket and work­ed out the dif­fe­ren­tia­ti­on to competitors.

New working worlds, new projects

After stra­te­gic preli­mi­na­ry work, our New Work pro­ject for the Kös­ter Group is now also moving into visu­al imple­men­ta­ti­on. The shell of the office buil­ding is in place, as is the con­cept for the asso­cia­ted working environment.

Incorporated on the inside – presented on the outside

As an expert for indi­vi­du­al buil­dings, com­pe­tence and relia­bi­li­ty are natu­ral­ly on Köster’s agen­da. But only with a coher­ent posi­tio­ning on the insi­de do you shi­ne on the out­side. We have visi­bly trans­por­ted and com­mu­ni­ca­ted the­se values – for the two- and three-dimen­sio­nal as well as ana­lo­gue and digi­tal space.

Digitally high up

We accom­pa­ny Kös­ter in the pro­cess of digi­tal trans­for­ma­ti­on. We crea­te sales media, cus­to­mer news­let­ters, pre­sen­ta­ti­on tem­pla­tes, digi­tal trade fairs and info­gra­phics. With the Online Brand Manu­al, we also pro­vi­de the com­pa­ny with a gui­de that puts the cor­po­ra­te design on paper digi­tal­ly. Con­sis­tent and memo­rable. For two- and three-dimen­sio­nal space. With the goal of a visi­bly strin­gent brand expe­ri­ence that still lea­ves enough room for the fur­ther deve­lo­p­ment of the brand.

A warm welcome!

Struc­tu­ral and civil engi­nee­ring. Eco­no­mic­al and indi­vi­du­al – that is Köster’s core com­pe­tence. We deli­ver­ed a new trade fair design for the com­pa­ny as part of the cor­po­ra­te design. The company’s colours extend across the stand as a space-crea­ting column on the flo­or, walls and cei­ling, dra­wing visi­tors straight insi­de. A simp­le and clear design that gives the core com­pe­ten­ces the neces­sa­ry space to work.
