Fair Dornbirn
Encounter on a ground
rich in culture
Finding space and opportunity for encounters. For the personal exchange of ideas, goods and services. Where modernity and culture meet. Messe Dornbirn develops and organises contemporary events with an authentic connection to business and society. With strategy and design, we have sharpened the Messe Dornbirn brand and strengthened its positioning under the motto “Experience markets live”.
A question of perspective
What does it look like – the trade fair of the future? What topics do people want to experience up close? We have not only sharpened the perception of Dornbirn as a trade fair location externally, but also in terms of content. In one of our workshops, the format “Gustav” was created – the fair for consumer culture. As their discussion partner, we take the time to ask the right questions. This is how different perspectives and thus unexpected solutions emerge.
Corporate design with a signal effect
The unique architecture of the exhibition halls was the source of inspiration for the new corporate design. The entrance area bathed in red not only characterises the face of Messe Dornbirn, it almost magically draws visitors into a whole world of its own. For us, it goes without saying that this element is now also used as a consistent key visual. On posters and banners, in brochures and trade fair catalogues, on employee badges and give-aways. And of course on all communication channels. From the website to the admission ticket – the communication is now convincing with a modern design, a high-contrast colour scheme and clear messages.
Zoomed in
Drawing the attention of potential exhibitors to the multifaceted nature of Messe Dornbirn: To achieve this, we took up the existing visual language as a uniform element and put it into a representative form. The result is an image brochure that underlines the advantages and charm of the Dornbirn location. And to make sure that visitors feel well looked after at all times during their tour of the trade fair, we also created a site plan that guides them through the respective trade fair world both analogue and interactively.
