Köster
Built on ideals
On a construction site, it must be clear who has the plan. Whose statements can be relied on? Who bears the responsibility? Köster GmbH answers confidently – and shows its colours. The company is Germany’s leading construction company in the fields of work, living and infrastructure. The range of services extends from individual planning to the turnkey implementation of construction projects. Tailor-made construction projects are realised through a network of 20 locations nationwide. Loosely based on the Greek philosopher Aristotle, who once said “The whole is more than the sum of its parts”, we have created a uniform brand design for Köster.
Giving shape to a brand
How does a general contractor create differentiation in the market today? And how do you give shape to an organisation with 2,000 employees and a turnover of 1.3 billion euros? Our focus was on creating a coherent brand image for Köster GmbH. And the result has a signal effect: like an exclamation mark, a vertical red column marks each construction site. This makes it easy to recognise who is responsible for the project, even from a distance. The red shape is as simple as it is solid.
From the business card to the construction site, it carries and stabilises the entire corporate communication – internally and externally. Customers and employees receive a clear message across all media: Köster gives construction projects stability and structure. An unmistakable statement, for which we previously analysed the market and worked out the differentiation to competitors.
New working worlds, new projects
After strategic preliminary work, our New Work project for the Köster Group is now also moving into visual implementation. The shell of the office building is in place, as is the concept for the associated working environment.
Incorporated on the inside – presented on the outside
As an expert for individual buildings, competence and reliability are naturally on Köster’s agenda. But only with a coherent positioning on the inside do you shine on the outside. We have visibly transported and communicated these values – for the two- and three-dimensional as well as analogue and digital space.
Digitally high up
We accompany Köster in the process of digital transformation. We create sales media, customer newsletters, presentation templates, digital trade fairs and infographics. With the Online Brand Manual, we also provide the company with a guide that puts the corporate design on paper digitally. Consistent and memorable. For two- and three-dimensional space. With the goal of a visibly stringent brand experience that still leaves enough room for the further development of the brand.
A warm welcome!
Structural and civil engineering. Economical and individual – that is Köster’s core competence. We delivered a new trade fair design for the company as part of the corporate design. The company’s colours extend across the stand as a space-creating column on the floor, walls and ceiling, drawing visitors straight inside. A simple and clear design that gives the core competences the necessary space to work.
