The aim of this year’s trade fair stand concept was to demonstrate the multifaceted and flexible uses of the Serafini product range in the household. With this in mind, the designers from atelier 522 designed an abstract living situation where the products could be shown to their best advantage: the framework for this was a two-storey, 6-metre-high house that – in its cross section – afforded an insight into the different “rooms”, providing the visitor with the most diverse impressions and plenty of inspiration. The living room modular wall unit, Serafini’s latest product highlight, was effectively used as a well-organised bookshelf, as a wardrobe and also as a stylish bar. The popular “Western” rocking stool also cut a great figure, not just in the living room but also in the bathroom and kitchen. A floor plan was marked out in white tape with fictitious rooms in which the furniture was placed according to its function, to be moved around and tried out, making the “room” come alive. The simplicity of the trade fair materials and the decorative elements were in contrast to the high quality and colourful products by Serafini. A richly contrasting presentation for the brand in which the atelier 522 designers certainly succeeded in providing a wealth of impressions.
