new retail design

For the Hofmann fashion house, we redesigned 985 m² of retail space in an old and new building. And in the process we made a major breakthrough. Literally. Part of the ceiling on the ground floor was removed. As a result, customers can see the whole architecture with its different levels and galleries as soon as they enter. This entices them to explore the building which has an urban twist – polished screed floors, exposed concrete walls and exposed ventilation systems.

And there’s lots to explore: we’ve completely redeveloped the wall display systems and free-standing furniture and have left plenty of room for product displays and embellishments. With loving attention to detail, the spaces have been made visitor friendly. Spacious fitting rooms, exquisite communal areas, drink stations and a quiet corner for mothers combine service with atmosphere. But it’s not only well-placed designer furniture that makes it more pleasant for your companions to wait around. Whilst the men are trying on the wedding suits in the ready-to-wear department, the best man and bride can battle it out at table football.
