graphic design

A turn-up for the books. Bookshops have a decisive advantage over other stores: the products on offer stimulate the imagination, the powers of the mind. This influences the stimulating atmosphere that is so typical of bookstores. But how can one give this atmosphere its own face – with a sharpened profile to appeal to customers on a market that is meanwhile fiercely competitive? atelier 522’s answer to this question was to find the suitable thread in the fabric of the store’s premises and work it through the overall presentation. Ivory white was the common thread we found. It runs through the new corporate design, in everything from the website to the business cards and letterhead down to giveaways, matches and notebooks with the newly designed company logo. atelier 522 designed the complete interior of the traditional shop in the city centre of Friedrichshafen, where customers will discover the design on the menu and paper bags of their recently purchased books or gifts.
